Versace Miami Beach Mansion Sold for $41.5 million

Nakash family wins Versace mansion at auction for $41.5M - South Florida Business Journal: "The Nakash family, of Jordache Jeans fame, intends to run the mansion in connection with the Hotel Victor, which they already own next door. Trump was the back-up bidder for the mansion with his offer of $41 million. The sale is not final until a bankruptcy court hearing scheduled for Wednesday morning. . . ." (more at link above)



Versace's Miami mansion auction 
Sep. 14 - Italian fashion designer Gianni Versace's South Beach mansion hit the auction block, with the bidding starting at $25 million U.S. dollars. Gavino Garay reports. The lavishly designed Miami beach home of Italian fashion designer Gianni Vesace is on the auction block, with the bidding starting at $25 million dollars. Versace was shot and killed at age 50 on the steps of his Mediterranean-style mansion in 1997. Versace spent $33 million dollars renovating the 10-bedroom, 23,000-square-foot home, which features a swimming pool with a 24K gold-inlayed black marble mosiac.
